Due to an extraordinary set of events involving an Uber ride with a former A&R executive, the 22-year-old has recently signed to LA tastemaker label, Mind Of A Genius, who are responsible for launching the careers of Klangstof and Gallant. The track feels fresh and summery, with funky basslines and catchy synth lines aplenty. The accompanying video is as cool as its name suggests, and features KWAYE dressed all in red and dropping some seriously stylish dance moves against London’s brutalist architecture.
